Here at Labeltec Services we have invested in a variety of top quality equipment to produce your custom labels to any specification including Letterpress, Flexographic, Hot Foiling and Thermal Transfer.

Letterpress uses oil based ink and produces results of the highest quality including halftones, screens and vignettes. Our equipment can reverse print under the adhesive so the underneath of the label is readable when the label is applied to clear plastic containers or film. Suitable for short or high volume print runs.

Flexographic printing uses water based ink and is ideally suited to short or medium sized orders up to 4 colour combinations where special effects are not essential. Flexographic printing provides a good quality print on a range of papers and films for all types of labelled products.

Hot Foil printing is used on high value products to provide the highest quality of print and overprint by re-registration, using a variety of gold, silver and coloured foils to give a sparkling finish to the completed labels. It is particularly suited for security and holographic labels.

We can also produce Digital labels. No plates or origination costs are involved with this method and it is a great way to produce short run Full Colour labels from digital files. Digitally printed labels have colours very close to the actual pantone colour. Digital printing is also ideally suited to print runs where the labels need to include variable data such as consecutive numbers.

EXAMPLE

Thermal Transfer is used for 'On Demand' printing of barcodes, variable data and similar information in single colours. We use this type of equipment in our Barcode Bureau and, unlike the other label printing equipment we use, smaller Thermal Transfer printing machines with a very small footprint are suitable for use on any small business premises.

Thermal Transfer equipment uses ribbons rather than plates and ink and is the ideal way to overprint plain or pre-printed labels with variable data such as Product Name, Sell by Date, Serial Number or Barcodes. Ideal for small businesses such as delicatessens, craft workers or aromatherapists, or on a larger scale, for the clothing/footwear or other manufacturing industries.
